Welcome to Generation Change, an Al Jazeera English series that attempts to understand and challenge the ideas that are mobilizing the youth around the world. 

In the first episode hosted by Zahra Rasool, the head of AJ Contrast, we meet two activists trying to raise awareness about police brutality in the US. 24-year-old Chelsea Miller is an activist and social entrepreneur who co-founded the civic organization Freedom March New York City. 30-year-old Samuel Sinyangwe is a data and policy analyst, and a co-founder of Mapping Police Violence – a database recording police violence across the US. Chelsea and Samuel discuss police brutality, Black Lives Matter, and how global networks of solidarity can be created using technology.
